Dr Zhang Lifeng

Dr. Zhang leads Actxa’s Research and Development, bringing a wealth of experience as a molecular biologist with a proven track record of driving high-performing research and bioinformatics teams to deliver successful products. ​

A hands-on bioinformatician, Dr. Zhang specialises in building and utilising advanced data analysis pipelines using Python and R. His expertise includes data manipulation, statistical modelling, and bioinformatics research. He led a bioinformatics team to develop a neural network algorithm that analyses single-cell transcriptome data, enabling the identification of antigen-specific T-cell receptors (TCRs). His passion for innovation and problem-solving drives his contributions to Actxa’s groundbreaking health technology solutions.​

Dr. Zhang is also a AI deep learning specialist, consistently expanding his skillset to stay at the forefront of technological advancements. His commitment to lifelong learning fuels his ability to deliver impactful solutions across disciplines.​

He holds a PhD in Molecular Genetics from Baylor University Medical Center and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Peking University.
