Actxa today unveiled Spark Band at IFA Berlin 2026, Combining Everyday Health Insights with Non-Invasive Glucose Awareness

The new screenless smart health band combines sleep, recovery, heart health, activity and

fitness insights, alongside Actxa’s 1-minute, non-invasive glucose snapshot, with up to 14

days of battery life and no subscription required.

Berlin, Germany, 3 September 2026 — Actxa today announced Spark Band at IFA Berlin 2026,

introducing a new screenless smart health band designed to help people understand what their

body is telling them throughout everyday life.

Built for continuous day-and-night wear, Spark Band brings together insights across sleep,

recovery, heart health, activity, fitness and glucose awareness in one wrist-worn device.

At its centre is AI Glucose Snapshot, powered by Actxa’s proprietary BGEM® technology,

introducing a 1-minute, non-invasive way for users to build greater awareness of their glucose

patterns alongside the health signals they already track.

Powered by BGEM®, AI Glucose Snapshot offers a 1-minute, non-invasive check-in that provides

an estimated glucose range together with an indicative value within that range for general

wellness and awareness purposes.

Users can take snapshots around meals and over time to build greater awareness of their glucose patterns and how these may relate to everyday choices.

Rather than focusing on a single reading, Spark Band encourages users to check in, notice

patterns over time and build a better understanding of how their body responds.

give users a broader understanding of how their body is doing.

A Quick Snapshot provides an estimate of where glucose stands at that moment, while

Meal Snapshots allow users to take snapshots before and after eating to build a clearer

picture of how their glucose patterns may respond to food.

• Smarter Sleep Tracking: Track sleep stages, sleep score and overnight signals, with

personalised insights that users can act on the following day.

• Recovery Against Your Own Baseline: A daily recovery reading based on a seven-day

average of sleep HRV, viewed against the user’s own baseline, alongside a 30-day trend

chart and personalised recovery insights.

• Activity & Fitness: Track daily movement and Intensity Minutes, alongside cardio

fitness progress through workouts, VO2 Max and Fitness Age.

• Target Heart Rate Zone: Gentle LED and vibration cues allow users to train smarter

within their target heart-rate zone without needing to look at a screen.

• Screenless Experience: Continuous health tracking with useful LED and vibration cues,

keeping users informed without adding another screen to their day.

• Up to 14 Days of Battery Life: Designed for continuous day-and-night wear, with up to

14 days of battery life.

• No Subscription: The full Spark Band experience is available with no monthly

subscription or ongoing fees.

Spark Band is designed to do more than collect health data.

Through the Actxa App, signals across glucose, sleep, recovery, activity and fitness are brought

together into simple, personal insights that help users understand what may matter most that

day.

Users who want to explore further can still access their detailed metrics, trends and historical

data within the app.

The same philosophy extends to the wrist. Instead of another display filled with notifications

and numbers, Spark Band uses subtle LED and vibration cues for useful feedback, including

Target Zone Training, move alerts and wake-up alarms.

The idea is simple: Less data to decode, more understanding to act on.

Designed to Stay With You

Spark Band is designed for comfortable day-and-night wear, with zinc alloy casing and soft nylon

braided strap that fits naturally into your routine.

It will be available in:

Casing: Titanium Silver with Jet Black accents

Strap: Midnight Black

Sizes: S/M and M/L

At approximately 22g, Spark Band is light enough for continuous wear and is IP68-rated for

everyday water resistance, including immersion up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes. It can store up

to seven days of data on the band, allowing information to sync with the Actxa App when the

user’s phone reconnects. A full charge takes up to 90 minutes.

It connects via Bluetooth Low Energy and is compatible with: Android 8.0 or later and iOS 15.6

or later.

Pricing and Availability

Spark Band will be available to pre-order from 24 September 2026, retailing at SGD 199 / USD

149, ahead of its official launch and fulfilment from 18 November 2026.

The product will launch across selected markets in Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and

North America.

A limited early-bird offer of 40% off will be available from 24 September to 31 October

2026, followed by 20% off from 1 to 17 November. From the official launch date, customers

can continue to enjoy a 10% launch offer for a limited time.

Pre-orders open on 24 September 2026 and close on 17 November 2026, 23:59, with

fulfilment beginning from 18 November 2026 and priority given to earlier orders.
