Dr. Eka Widrian Suradji

Dr. Eka Widrian Suradji, MD, PhD, is a physician, public health scientist, and health-tech researcher with over 20 years of experience building and leading healthcare systems in complex environments. Trained in medicine at Universitas Padjadjaran and public health at Gunma University, Japan, he combines clinical insight, data science, system-level and human-centered thinking to develop scalable digital health solutions.

Before entering health technology, Dr. Eka led hospitals, public health agencies, and large multidisciplinary teams across Indonesia, including directing accredited B-class hospitals and overseeing regional health services. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he played a key leadership role in establishing West Papua’s first PCR laboratory and coordinating data-driven response strategies supported by international funding.

He currently leads innovation and research initiatives focused on AI-enabled health monitoring, including non-invasive blood glucose estimation and wearable-based metabolic insights. His work in Krida Wacana Christian University bridges clinical science, real-world data, and consumer health technology, with a strong emphasis on safety, regulatory readiness, practicality and behavior-driven health improvement.

His mission is to translate advanced health science into accessible, affordable technologies that empower individuals and health systems to manage chronic conditions more effectively and proactively.
